THE wedding DAY!

While I don't have any professional pictures from the wedding yet, I do have a collection of a few that were taken from various family members!  I'm so glad they were able to capture some of my favorite moments.  David and I loved looking at all of the pictures on Facebook and the ones that people sent my parents!  They were a wonderful surprise!

Our wedding day was more than we could have ever imagined!  We planned the wedding to include many different aspects of us, but mostly, we wanted it to reflect our love for Christ and one another.  We wanted our wedding service to be one that honored and celebrated God for all that He has done for us.
With my amazing bridesmaids at my brunch!

Reading my love letter my new husband wrote me.  It was accompanied by a new Bible with my new name on it!
Our amazing wedding party on the stairs of UGA's Chapel!  This was right after David and I had our first look!  It was truly one of the most special moments of my life!
My beautiful flower girls and ring bearer! The best cousins I could ask for!
With my dad pre-ceremony!
During the ceremony! I will put up professional pictures when I get them!
Our favors!  "Pour your peanuts in your Coke, just like Southern folk!" An old Southern tradition!
Our first dance :) to Unforgettable by Nat King Cole.

David and I cutting my gorgeous cake! It turned out better than I could have ever dreamed!  Every other layer was Strawberry or Spanish Lemon!  Thank you Cecilia's!
And now for the getaway! We ran out under a sparkler lit sky and drove off in a red Model A!  It was the perfect end to the perfect day!

There are a lot of pictures.  I mean a lot.  And I haven't even seen the professional ones yet!  I will definitely be sharing more with you.  However, for the time being I have limited internet access!  I will do my best!

Husband and I are now enjoying getting into a regular routine.  It's amazing how you can fall more and more in love with someone every day!

Honeymoon pictures coming soon! Mexico was amazing!

marrrriiieeeddd :) :)

I have officially been married 11 days!  And they have been the most amazing 11 days!
I have so much to talk about that I don't even know where to start!  BUT I guess I should start with the beginning!  The first major event of wedding weekend was the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner.  It was an amazing time spent with family and our best friends.  It was held at the University of Georgia's Center for Continuing Education and it was beautiful!  Decorated in our Southern theme!  So today, I will be posting some pictures from the dinner.  I'm excited to share them with you!  While the weekend was such whirlwind, David and I had the time of our lives!

My plan is to go through the whole weekend blog by blog and even our honeymoon in Mexico!  We are busy getting back to reality this week, but are so grateful for all of the people that took time out of their schedules to celebrate our love with us.  And we are crazy in love :)

My dad and I practicing walking down the aisle!  David and I were married at the University of Georgia Chapel!
Practice makes perfect!
Did I mention I had to most precious flower girls in the world?
My beautiful bridesmaids at the Arch!
My dad and I at dinner!
Mama and I at dinner!
My HUSBAND and I at dinner!!!
Three of my main men!
My sister and I with our HUSBANDS!!

The dinner was amazing! I hope you enjoyed the pictures! There are a lot more and you will be able to check them all out on my Facebook soon!

I will be updating the look of my blog this week as well!  Stay tuned!

happy valentines :)

Happy Valentines everyone! I have so desperately wanted to share with you what I have been up to, but I have kept it a secret! The fiance is an avid reader of the blog and I didn't want to give away any surprises!

This year we decided to "make" gifts. I always think of the clip from FRIENDS when Monica and Chandler forget to "make the gifts". If you haven't heard about my undying love for this TV show yet... trust me, you will.

Now I stole the idea off of Pinterest, obvi. It's the 52 Reasons I Love You book! So here is my finished product!

After I finished the "What I Like About You", I started my reasons. A couple of the scrapbooking stickers I got on sale at Hobby Lobby came in handy here!

Lastly, here is a look at the entire cover and back end.

The book was definitely the fiance's favorite part, however, he loved the other things I included as well...

One thing that is not pictured is the empty Pringles can that I decorated. It said, "Once I pop, I just can't stop my love for you!" And had some more candy with phrases inside.

Overall, Valentines Day was a success. The fiance made me a really sweet gift (but that's for me to know, not ready to share it yet!)

Hope you all had a great day too!
