Merry Christmas!

I can't believe I haven't blogged since December 6th!
Since I've been off work, I have spent a lot of time with the puppy!
And catching up on sleep....

I am fully rested and ready for a new semester now, but I'm so excited I still have another week off!
Since I've been on Christmas break I've...

Spent time with family and friends...
I've taken lots of walks with sweet Hazel, in my new kicks...
Completed a few puzzles with the hubby...
Started reading books... FOR FUN!
Watched lots of movies and Modern Family Season 3...
(Hazel hid beside the couch during one movie!)
And loved on my sweet puppy!
As you can tell, it was no exaggeration that I've spent a lot of time loving on my puppy!  Hazel met LOTS of family and friends.  She is purely exhausted.

David and I are going to enjoy some time in the mountains before life gets crazy again.
We are going to visit Asheville, NC and the Biltmore!  We are so excited!
I hope you had a MERRY CHRISTMAS as well!

the hunger games

I have a really embarrassing, very serious confession to make.

After work yesterday, I had to pick up some vitamins at Target. Well everyone knows that you can't just go into Target to "pick something up". I walked around the exterior and stopped to flip threw some wedding magazines when I saw it... the book I've heard tons of people talking about. The movie they talk about on the radio every morning. The movie trailer that I've been interested in, but understood little about.

My confession--I am Hunger Games crazy now. I decided to treat myself to a fun, fiction, easy-read. I haven't had one of those in awhile. And it was on sale!

Warning: Do not start reading this book unless you have some time on your hands. I started reading at 5pm and only a few short breaks later finished it at 12:30am.

I could not put it down.

I watched the movie trailer at least 15 times today. AND, I have also been daydreaming about the second book, Catching Fire, all day. I seriously can not get enough.

Needless to say, I'm looking forward to March 23.
