saturday snuggles

The best part about Saturday mornings? Well, besides sleeping in, is snuggling with my puppy!
She is so sweet and usually very happy I'm at home for the whole day with her!
If you have personal space issues, Hazel will cure that for sure.
After my wedding, my mama generously took my bouquet back to Marietta to have it frozen, dried and framed by Forever Flowers Bouquets.  When they were ready to be put together, I went and choose a frame and background.  I am SO happy with the way it turned out!! It could not be more beautiful!  And now David and I have this beautiful reminder of the best day of our lives to look at all the time!
I've been sewing more and more lately!  Hazel has been the sole beneficiary of my crafts so far though. I went to stay with my parents for a long weekend recently.  After my mama and I picked up my bouquet, we decided to visit around Roswell, GA.  We ate lunch at Greenwoods and looked around the shops downtown.  In one of the craft stores, I saw collar covers for dogs.  They were so cute!  So I decided to try and make one.  It was so much easier than I expected.  I just made a simple one, but it turned out really cute!  And Hazel doesn't mind wearing it at all!  Next time I'd like to make the bow bigger and maybe add some other fun embellishments.  But for now she is just a doll!
I covered the button myself too!  I was really proud!
Hazel is particularly loving this Saturday morning because of the warmth of the computer.  She is also fully engaged in watching Family Matters right now too.  Have I mentioned how much our puppy LOVES watching tv?

Happy Weekend :)

New Look!

Surprise! My blog got a facelift! I've been wanting to design my own layout for awhile now and finally got the motivation to sit down and do it!  I hope you like the new look :)  I'm not quite done yet, so you might see me making small changes over time as I learn more and more about the html world!

This week has been full of craziness!  I'm watching my favorite twins and their brother this week and driving to a volleyball tournament at night.  All while doing some research and trying to study.
Aren't they the cutest? I hope they never grow old.  This is one of my favorite shots from the wedding!  You might be saying, this looks like a professional picture?  Well it is!  My pictures are here!!!  And we LOVE them!!!!  I will share a few more with you today, but the rest I will put on Facebook!  I'll provide a link when I post them!  However, my photographer posted an album and you can check them out here!
David and I had a good looking wedding party!  Everyone helped make our wedding day so special and perfect!
Our wedding party in front of the chapel!  Aren't they so pretty!?  My florist was amazing and made the gorgeous wreaths on the doors and the ones my flower girls carried!
Our wedding party in front of the Herty Field fountain!
Walking back from Herty Field with my husband!
My BEAUTIFUL bridesmaids! I was so happy with the way everything came together! Their flowers, the dresses, the sunlight...love it!

Overall, the wedding was everything I could have imagined and more!

I'm off to Lego Land with my three cousins! They tell me I get to ride a roller coaster today! It's been awhile!

leap day :)

It's officially Leap Day! In my class, we took the day off from the Renaissance and talked about the history of Leap Day. We played some games and talked about things that only happen every 4 years in detail. It was really fun!

What could make a fun day even better? Well that would be Oh How Pinteresting Wednesday! There are so many AMAZING things on Pinterest, obvi. However, here are just a few of my favs from this week!

First, I absolutely can't wait for Spring/Summer because I want to start getting pedicures with pretty bright colors to show off with sandals! I'm really loving this coral color!

Can I please have this fun little nook in my future home? I love the seat in the window and the wooden desk. Let's just say that it would be hard NOT to get me to spend ALL of my time there! Plus, I love the pop of color that has been added here!

Spring break is still over a month away for me, but knowing I will be beaching it up is getting me there! However, it still makes it hard not to wish I was either (a) living at this house and sitting on this porch or (b) on vacation right now!

Can I have this rug? Okay! Thanks. I just think it's adorable.

I can't wait to have kids, so that I can have an excuse to do things like THIS! Don't worry, I'm not having kids anytime soon, but that doesn't mean I'm not looking forward to the day I can freeze kool aid as ice cubes! What a fun idea!

I hope you are having a wonderful LEAP day!!!
